Entrepreneurship is the act of being willing to take the risks involved in a business in order to gain profit. An entrepreneur is someone who is willing to take the risks involved in a business in order to gain a profit. For an entrepreneur to be successful the entrepreneur should be assertive, confident to not doubt whether they can succeed or not, have discipline to keep the rules they have set for themselves and determination to never give up.

Madam C.J. Walker is an example of a good entrepreneur as she took the risk of trying different ingredients to get the right formula for her hair lotion to prevent the loss of her hair. As the outcome of the lotion was successful she saw this as a large business opportunity and started her business to create hair lotions and her business started to grow as many people wanted to use her hair lotion to make their hair grow in tresses. Within a few years her business had expanded and she became an icon; known as the first self-made female billionaire, all because she took the risk of trying out something new and different.

Madam C.J. Walker has inspired me by showing me that nothing is impossible if you set your sights on achieving something and doing it fearlessly, not thinking of what others might say using Madam C.J. Walker as the case study as she used to be a laundress who most people looked down on and snickered at, but had a goal, put her mind to it and came out successful in a way that no one ever imagined, emerging as one of the most successful business woman of all time. This has spurred me to dream big because the sky is my limit and if she could do it then I could do it too.
